To Mark the Madin Full Moon Day & Venerable Bhante Samitha’s Birthday
Was held on Good Friday 25th March 2016 at Letchworth Dhamma Nikethanaya Buddhist Centre.
A special Dana Ceremony and Blessings Chanting was organized to mark the Madin (March) Full Moon Day and Venerable Bhante Samitha Samitha’s Birthday on Good Friday 25th March 2016. Friends and members of the Centre joined with Venerable Bhante Samitha to remember his beloved mother who passed away 23 days ago.
Most Venerable Ahangama Rathanasiri Nayaka Thero, Chief Incumbent of Toronto Maha Vihara Buddhist Centre in Canada and Most Venerable Bhikkhu Assaji Thero attended the ceremony to transfer the merits to beloved mother Mrs Dasawathie Mendis.
Venerable Bhante Samitha thanked everyone who came to attend the occasion and transferred the merits to all other departed relatives and friends of the centre. He also share the blessings who celebrated the birthday on and near of day.
May those blessings be with Beloved Mother Mrs Dasawathie Mendis and May The Loving Mother Attain Supreme Bliss of Nibbana!
